The SAMHSA SOAR Technical Assistance (TA) Center is proud to announce that we have received a new contract from SAMHSA to continue our work! SOAR TA Center staff are excited and motivated to continue delivering technical assistance to all 50 states. We are working with SAMHSA to develop plans to ensure that the next 5 years will be as productive as the first. We appreciate our community partners dedicated to SOAR success and we recognize that this award is a reflection of the commitment of each of you! Again, we thank you for sharing your ideas, best practices, successes and your time towards making SOAR successful across the country.

Connecting Veterans to Social Security Disability Benefits: A Key Component in Ending Veteran Homelessness discusses the importance of connecting Veterans with SSA disability benefits how the SOAR model can help.
Social Security Disability Recovery Stories of People Experiencing or At Risk for Homelessness is a collection of stories written by SOAR case managers or their supervisors, and by individuals assisted by SOAR case managers to apply for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
